Vital Training is … owned and operated by Brian Jones, a Strength and Conditioning Coach and graduate from the University of Alabama. Brian is a Licensed Training Partner of the American Red Cross, who is now delivering impactful CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, Child Safety, and other emergency medical training across Tennessee, Virginia, and now Alabama.
Vital offers hands-on, instructor-led courses that are designed to prepare individuals and teams to respond confidently in life-threatening situations.

This private, one‑on‑one, or Partner options with your instructor‑led course delivers personalized, hands‑on training in Adult CPR, AED use, and basic First Aid. Flexible scheduling makes it easy to fit this vital training into your busy day. We will come to your home or office space to make this convenient and easy to cross off your To-do Lists. If you are adding a partner to this private session, please include their first and last name and contact email for their digital certificate, when booking your private session.
We can add the Pediatric Portion to your Certification for $20 more if you like to boost your Certification skills. If you have another friend, family member or coworker that you know that would like to join you and share the cost and get a 2-year, American Red Cross Digital Certification as well, this option allows that with no change to the final cost of this Private Session. You’ll work directly with a certified instructor—without the distractions of a group setting—to master:
High‑quality chest compressions and rescue breaths for adults and children
Safe, effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator
First Aid fundamentals: wound care, bleeding control, shock management, and choking relief
Instruction follows the latest American Red Cross guidelines, ensuring you leave fully prepared to recognize and respond to emergencies. Upon successful completion, you’ll receive an internationally recognized digital version CPR/AED/First Aid certification valid for two years. Flexible scheduling makes it easy to fit this vital training into your busy day. We will come to your home or office space to make this convenient and easy to cross off your To-do Lists. If you are adding a partner to this private session, please include their first and last name and contact email for their digital certificate, when booking your private session.
DURATION : 3HOURS
Adult CPR/AED/First Aid Class with an option to have your class as an all-instructor led course OR our Blending Learning version of the course. Your Blended Learning course option will allow us to email you after you register, the video classroom portion of the course, that will allow to then upload to your high-speed internet connected device. This online video portion will be a 2.5-hour online course from the American Red Cross that will need to be completed before your one hour in person Skill Session date with your Instructor.
Both options equip participants with the skills and confidence to respond to adult cardiac and first‑aid emergencies. If you are a group of Individuals from a Business or Community that would like us to come onsite at your location, then use the “Book your Goup Class” button at the bottom of this page. If you are an Individual, who is looking to join one of our community courses at one of our locations then please see our scheduler on the last page of our site to register for your spot in one of our community classes.
Adult CPR (single‑ and two‑rescuer techniques)
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation and safety
First Aid for common adult injuries and medical emergencies (cuts, burns, choking, shock, etc.)
We can include Pediatric CPR/AED as an add on if you are interested, just be sure to choose it as an add on by purchasing and emailing us your chosen date for your Class time and date.
We can come on-site for your instruction and certification needs to your corporate or business location.
Our $99.00 price is per student for your group, and we provide you with a digital American Red Cross Certificate that is good for 2 years, that you will receive just hours after the class is completed. We will also supply each student with a Breathing Barrier and pair of latex-free gloves.
Our certified American Red Cross instructors blend short lectures with hands‑on practice and realistic scenarios, ensuring every student achieves mastery.
DURATION: 3 HOURS 15 MINUTES for all in person, instructor led course
DURATION FOR BLENDED COURSE OPTION: ONLINE WORK (TWO HOURS AND THIRTY MINUTES) TO BE COMPLETED ONLINE BEFORE IN PERSON SKILL SESSION DATE (ONE HOUR SKILLS SESSION)
Job-Specific Requirements
Some workplaces or licensing boards ask for specialized training beyond standard certification. We offer the following Add-on course options for $49.00 per person:
Duration: 45 minutes for each Add On
Add-On: Pediatric CPR
This optional add-on expands the standard Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certification by including lifesaving techniques tailored for infants and children. Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to pediatric breathing emergencies, perform high-quality chest compressions and rescue breaths for children and infants, and safely operate an AED on a pediatric victim.
This training is ideal for teachers, daycare staff, youth group leaders, camp counselors, and parents or guardians who work with or care for children. The add-on provides crucial confidence and preparedness to handle pediatric emergencies both in public and at home.
Duration: Approximately 45 minutes
Add-On Fee: $49 per participant
Certification: Included as part of the main certification card
Bloodborne Pathogens -Covers bloodborne disease risks, exposure control plans, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment. Ideal for healthcare, daycare, and public safety professionals.
AED Use Refresher – Focused practice on AED operation and integration with CPR. Also includes a site inspection of your AED and consult on its proper use and instructions. In places with elevated safety risks (gyms, schools, industrial settings), having more than the minimum certification can mean the difference between panic and preparedness.
Emergency Scenario Workshops - Interactive scenarios to build confidence in real-life emergencies. A childcare facility may request additional emergency scenarios involving infants or choking
Team Response Practice - Group drills to coordinate multi-responder CPR and AED. A warehouse might want team response drills for group coordination
