I am a Strength and Conditioning Coach and graduate from the University of Alabama. I have been a Licensed Training Partner of the American Red Cross for the past 5 years, and with 12 years of total experience in training CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, Child Safety, and other emergency medical training across Tennessee, Virginia, and now Alabama.

I started on this journey after witnessing DeMar Hamlin of the Buffalo Bills suffer Cardiac Arrest on Monday Night football several years back. A football helmet hit him with such force in his chest that it stopped his heart’s rhythm. I watched, like the rest of the country, as several EMTs helped to try and resuscitate him.

What followed was millions of powerful heartfelt sentiments, as we all watched and waited for him to pull through. I knew, if it was not for the preparedness of the event staff that night this story would have been tragically different.

DeMar did fully recover and even has continued his football playing career with the Buffalo Bills. He has to this day, helped the American Red Cross greatly with its efforts to make the public much more aware of the need for adequately trained first responders. I was so inspired by this to set out on a mission of my own, to help companies and individuals like you make their homes and workplaces as prepared for any unexpected emergency.
